I just... use whatever I had! I'm a RETARD at wrapping! Big style retard. With Emma's birthday present it was a watch, wrapped in bubble wrap, in a box, wrapped in clingfilm, wrapped in foil, ribbon wrapped round it, wrapped in paper... she took a while with that one!!

Just pretend Santa's wraping paper machine broke down and the elves had to use the backup. Lol.

i don't even pay attention to the wrapping. not what i put on or tear off. it could be anything for me. i would never remember from year to year. as far as tricking the kids though, i never thought about having to have different paper for the kids. i don't remember noticing that as a kid. maybe i did, but i quit believing in santa very young, so i doubt i noticed even when my parents kept signing things as "santa" for me and my brother and sister.

here's something that has been bothering me while i watch christmas movies. when we portray santa at the north pole now, there is technology involved. there's computers and security and all that kinda stuff, but my problem is that santa is magical. if technology is involved, then the magic is taken away. santa wouldn't need technology or science. poor kids growing up believing in santa without the faith in santa and his magic. he requires gadgets and techno-gizmo-wizbangs now. that's not magic. that's science. we are "technologizing". doesn't anyone see the problem with this. seems like empirical science propaganda to me. we are taking faith completely away from us by instilling science into our selves when we are children. sucks.
