argh!!! @#*&!!!  I've got this mag set up in picas... it's just a unit of measurement. 72 6 picas = 1 inch and 1 pica is divisible by 12 units. It's just nice because it's easier to divide things into thirds (like if you have a 1/3 page ad) because you don't have odd measurements like 1.33333333 or some crap like that. Anyway but for some reason I can't seem to explain them properly. The offset for sending to press is supposed to be 0p9 but someone keeps setting it at 9p (which is like HUGE) and all the pages are different sizes. ACK! I have to re-do them all!!!  |

i asked my shrink about picas today.
he pulled about an entire slideshow about picas. i was horrified! there was an x-ray of a guy that had $650 worth of coins in his stomach. his actual stomach was hanging below his hips.

i asked my shrink about picas today. he pulled about an entire slideshow about picas. i was horrified! there was an x-ray of a guy that had $650 worth of coins in his stomach. his actual stomach was hanging below his hips.  we had a swallower at the hospital a few years back... swallowed a pair of rubber gloves... they had to surgically remove them or they would've twisted up inside his guts and killed him... once they got in there, they found a bunch of other stuff like keys.. money... ball point pen... that kind of stuff.... |
