until others complained, it seems as if i was banned. right now, i can see the board. i wish i had taken a screenshot of it saying i was banned now. doesn't really matter anyway. if paperflowers, and roger are admin, i will have nothing to do with it. both are barely people much less admins. neither can think for their self.

i understand how you feel about amy's decisions and i know that it reflects on her as a person (in your mind).
but, i've become really close to her and i know that she was just doing what she thought was right, whether or not the rest of us agreed with it. so i can't just start hating her or cut off my friendship with her because i disagree with the way she handled something.

i understand how you feel about amy's decisions and i know that it reflects on her as a person (in your mind). all was good til the "in your mind" qualifier. her actions do reflect on who she is. if our actions don't reflect on who we are, then what does? ditto. i would MUCH rather witchy be the admin than anyone else mentioned. but honestly, i don't care at all. i won't be visiting (unless i am provoked).

all was good til the "in your mind" qualifier. her actions do reflect on who she is. if our actions don't reflect on who we are, then what does? the reason I said "in your mind" is because you can only base your opinion on what you've seen of her, which is a somewhat limited view. i feel differently about her because i have daily private conversations with her. so my view of her is based on her actions at the pool PLUS my other conversations with her. Whereas your opinion is only based on what you see at the pool. Well, I'm sure you've had some private conversations with her but they were probably based on what is happening at the pool. All I'm saying is I understand how you (and everyone else who left) feels. But I don't think it justifies any lifelong hatred or calling someone "less than human." She IS a person, just like you are. She has feelings and the whole scope of human emotions, just like you or anyone else.

She IS a person, just like you are. She has feelings and the whole scope of human emotions, just like you or anyone else. but i don't care. human, yeah, all too human. apparently she doesn't have the whole scope of reason. the concept of "do as i say or leave" is asinine. that is the type of reasoning that places little stars on "certain" people's clothes so they can be singled out. that is the type of reasoning that thinks the 50s were they "golden age" of america when all the husbands were alcoholics and all the wives were repressed. yeah, everything was good unless you were some kind of minority or poor. same with her. if someone doesn't agree with what she feels and feels to be the normative idea, then out with them. a forum seems small in comparison to the concepts that i am talking about, but it is that type of mentality gives fuel to the concepts i am talking about. i have said before, i do not believe in the "equality" of people. that concept is for socialists (america included as socialists but with some capitalistic structures) and christianity. but i would never base inequality off of superficial reasons like anyone that would make the claim "do as i say or leave". has a very true or false/black or white/A or C/good and evil feel to it. those dualisms don't don't hold up. they can't stand the pressure thorough interrogation. there is ALWAYS another side to be explored or route to be taken.

i kept trying to think of a response but it's too difficult so i'll just be honest.
i agree with most of what you say about what happened. and i can't defend amy's actions because i don't agree with them. that is why i left the pool. but i still love her as a friend and as a person, mainly because i've gotten to know her extremely well outside of all that crap. there is a lot more to her than how she runs the pool. you may or may not know of that side of her. even if you did, this is obviously something you feel so strongly about that it doesn't matter (of course you feel strongly - you got banned).
so that's that. all i'm saying is - i disagree with some of the things she did but i am still good friends with her and i still love her as a friend.
