You know, funny thing, I used to watch it all the time when it was still on, but for some strange reason, now, when I do, I dont think its as funny. :xmas:

i don't think it's funny at all. my husband got the DVDs for his birthday and watches them like crazy and laughs hysterically at every episode. I'm like - WHAT IS SO FUNNY?!

i think the show was hilarious, but his stand up act is kinda lame. the show was more or less written by larry david, but his show isn't that funny, but he is crazy funny! i don't think i have ever seen larry david do stand up. he might have, but i don't know of any.
theory by dru:
the character banya (sp) is larry david's view of jerry seinfeld's stand up act. if you look at banya's jokes, they are very much seinfeldian so to speak., yet the tv character "jerry" doesn't like the jokes (which the tv "jerry" is more like larry david than jerry seinfeld) but this is just one of my theories on that show.
