i think i want a new career. i want to be a stay-at-home nobobdy.

really, i don't think i am cut out for dealing with office politics. there is just so much bullnuts no matter where i go. i just can't handle it. i'm too outspoken and it always gets I disagree in trouble.

i feel like people just don't like me but it's only because they don't GET me.

I know what you mean. My current job is by no means my career, but I can't stand any kind of work politics. Especially when it involves catty women.

That's the problem at my job! The Publisher is a woman and all the managers with the exception of 1 are women. The thing I hate is how they exagerrate EVERYTHING. If one of them asks me, "Jessica, is there any room for a 1/2 vertical ad?" and I say, "Well not really but I have several 1/2 horizontals open," they run to the publisher and say, "Jessica is completely unwilingly to help us place these ads."

And of course the publisher believes them because they are all her cronies! She hired all of them because she knows them! ARRGHHH!!!

I really can't f**king stand it.

Once you're on their nuts list, it's all over.
