A few years ago I was partaking in some liquid sustenance of the fermented hop variety in the local tavern. My mates and I were sick of our jobs and were trying to come up with a surefire get-rich-quick scheme.
Anyhoo, I came up with a whole lifestyle-diet thing called "Fart yourself thin", books, videos the whole shebang :bernie: I don't remember much of it now but the idea was since the gas obviously has mass, if we could just find a way to expel more 'mass' than was ingested everything would be great. No workouts, no exercise...I seem to recall sprouts played a large part in the regime.
:hmm: Maybe I should look into it more thoroughly.

hey witchy, with regards to your sig line.
there are lots that remember the way the pool was. it's just that there are some f**king dim wits there now running the show. i didn't like you much as a moderator, but you were MUCH better than what is there now. i mean good god, anjhest...ANJHEST...of all f**king people. she is THE MOST biased person i have ever met. i can't imagine someone more unbalanced (and you can use any definition of that word you want here - psychologically or opinionated) than she is.
i recall an argument once over passport visas. she claimed, even AFTER she was SHOWN the truth, that foreigners didn't need visas to enter the US (mind you, not ALL foreign peoples need them, but lots do), and that americans didn't need visas to go to other countries. even after like 10 people told her different, i showed her a website, and cyndilauperfan (who is required to have a visa to come to the US) tell her all these things, she wouldn't admit she was wrong. where's the "moderate" that is the root word for "moderator" in that? breschau was a good moderator. he and tc were the best. sugamomma is a great mod too. i'm sure i've pissed her off a couple times, and LOOK! i'm still here!

My husband is an officer for US CUSTOMS AND BORDER PROTECTION....I think I have access to some very accurate information about that topic, not to mention stuff I had posted directly from the federal government's website and what a bunch of other people said from personal experience.  I've been gone from the pool for a while...and don't miss it at all. I miss a couple of the people that I would talk to.....or those who acknowledged my existance even though I was not part of the "clique" but I think all the people I considered friends are people I still talk to so I have lost nothing by leaving the pool. I think the pool needs some chlorine. :giggle: |

There are still nice people over there at the pool, but I just don't like the atmosphere much. The whole attitude of "Because I'm in charge and because I say so" is something I pretty much dispise. Maybe I was like that when I was a mod, cause I remember BR (if I remember that correctly) telling me I was a control freak. Maybe I was...I just don't think I ever took it to those limits though. I dunno...all I know is that my pool days are really over for now. I'm sick of people coming over here and whine and complain and then pretend it's all good over there. But everyone should just do what they please...
